Jon brings a wealth of experience in teaching puppet design, performance, and storytelling to diverse groups—from early childhood students and university-level learners, to aspiring performers to professional theatre companies. His dynamic workshops foster creativity, collaboration, and skill-building, inspiring participants to explore the art of puppetry in ways they never imagined. In 2026 Jon ran the first ever Puppetry class at the National Youth Drama School (NYDS), leading 10 high school students in a week long course in the fundamentals of Puppetry across several styles.
In addition to his teaching expertise, Jon has successfully led team-building exercises and art therapy sessions, blending the power of puppetry with personal growth and team cohesion. These hands-on sessions help individuals and teams connect, communicate, and unlock their creative potential.
Jon also offers expert consultancy for puppet-based projects of all scales, providing tailored insights and guidance to elevate your production's artistic vision and execution. With years of experience in the industry, his guidance ensures that your project will resonate on both a creative and practical level, from concept to performance.

Private Commissions
Jon is available for private commissions. He has made puppets for branding and marketing opportunities, personal projects, and eccentric gifts. Jon can work with you on realising a puppet from a rough idea to a fully realised concept. Puppets offered can range from imagined to realistic, characters from imagination, or recreations of people.
